April Blog Challenge Day 7 (10 Songs You Love)

List 10 songs that you're loving right now.

1. My Name Is Ruin by Gary Numan - I am hocked on this song and play it at least 6 times a day. It's a lot different than his songs of the past, and I'm loving his newer work.

2. White Rabbit by Collide - This is a super funky sounding version of an old song I used to love as a kid. Shades of drug use, and the story of Alice in Wonderland come to life.

3. Close To Nature by Rational Youth - I been listening to this song often since the late 1980's. They are my favorite band. They recently retired, so my dream of seeing them live will never be.

4. Sex Metal Barbie by In This Moment - An electro inspired sound with a much heavier punch to it. The song is very dark and corrupt, and I really enjoy this one at times; Today very much.

5. Renegade by Styx - What can I say, it's good old classic rock at it's best. Great music and a song that paints a story in my mind. Been listening to this song for a very long time.

6. Fuck That by Skrillex - Not the newest from him, but I just love how this song sounds. The music is awesome and gets me in a good mood. The lyrics are more part of the music than saying something, and this is typical of a lot of this kind of music.

7. Venus In Furs by The Velvet Underground - This is the story of sexual domination and submission. It's literally the same title as the book of the same name and the two main characters of the book. I have to say, I found the book dull A.F. but I always loved this song. I had a kinky side to me since my teen years, and it speaks to me.

8. Mr. Crowley by Ozzy Osbourne - This tells of Alister Crowley and his dabbling into the occult. His story in reality is a hell of a lot worse than Ozzy sings about. The man I think was out of his mind and hearing voices and so on. I love the way this song starts up with the digital organ music.

9. The Final Countdown by Europe - It's not much in the lyrics department to say the least, but it's full of life and spirited energy if you ask me. I simply love this song and remember it being played often in a bar I used to hang out at in the 1990's.

10. Knockin' On Heaven's Door by Runs N' Roses - This song speaks to me on a deep level and I can feel it like I'm in church, if you know what I mean. The music and the words combine to be something more than it's parts to me. I experience this song, not just listen to it.
