Big temperature change the last few days. 4c is almost freezing and 27c is kind of hot. It's not normal, even for this time of year. It should be cool in the day right now.
Following is the color codes to reproduce the C64 colors in PhotoShop or other similar graphics programs. Now you too can pixel paint just like the old 8 bit days with 16 colors. RGB 0 = $000000 RGB 1 = $FFFFFF RGB 2 = $924A40 RGB 3 = $84C5CC RGB 4 = $9351B6 RGB 5 = $72B14B RGB 6 = $483AAA RGB 7 = $D5DF7C RGB 8 = $675200 RGB 9 = $C33D00 RGB 10 = $C18178 RGB 11 = $606060 RGB 12 = $8A8A8A RGB 13 = $B3EC91 RGB 14 = $867ADE RGB 15 = $B3B3B3
The Fifth Estate (1976 - Still Going) Documentary, News This was a show that I remember my Mom and Dad watching once a week. Later in life I watched it as well. I no longer watch it as I’m no longer interested in news. At the time in the 70’s I did not really get what it was all about, I just wanted to be with my parents while they watched it. My brother never did stay for it if I remember correctly. Hockey Night in Canada (1952 - Still Going) Sports Dad watched this all the time in the 70’s and 80’s then just kind of stopped. I now watch it on my own. I love Hockey and CFL (Canadian Football). At the time I just was there for it – was not interested in sports until I was much older. Marketplace (1972 - Still Going) News, Consumer Affairs This is the consumer affairs show in Canada. They document what a business is doing wrong to a customer or a group and then confront them with it on camera. They have effected change over the years and ran a few places out of business. I was inte...
I got this on sale for a bit less than $7 a bag (250g). It's very good and I like it a lot. The thing is, it's now almost $10 a bag. The other blends of Lavazza coffee are almost $8 a bag. Now I tend to use 5 bags a month on average for just 1 cup of coffee a day with my large Moka Pot. This has become a very large expense to say the least. Sure I can get a close to 1KG can of coffee for $16 at my local store, but it it worth the price at all? I don't think it is. If I have coffee at home, I want to be able to enjoy the hell out of it, not just use it to wake up. The entire point of coffee to me is the ritual of making it, and the great pleasure I get in consuming a very good cup of coffee. So when it's going to set me back close to $43 a bloody month to have coffee at home, I think I'll skip it to say the least. Six months ago that was about $28 a month. So in half a year, the price has gone through the bloody roof and it's become the luxury of the wealthy to a...
Got to wonder if the person from Moose Jaw Housing that decides the boiler should be BLOODY OFF in the building has the heat in their home turned off right now, or if they are comfortable and warm - while about 90 people freeze in here. Phoning in and/or emailing does about nothing it seems. This has happened many times and only once did they turn the bloody heat on. This is literally not legal - it's not allowed to be under 16C, or THEY are responsible for giving you an electric heater to use until it warms up. But here I sit being in terrible pain, because I have fibromyalgia and the cold causes me a hell of a lot of pain. I know I'm disabled and on the system to survive, but I'm a bloody human and if people treated animals like this, they law would come down on them - yet here we are humans freezing in our apartments. I've lived in some doggy places in my time, but this is the only one where it's been extremely cold in the place. I do have to note, they they kee...
A nice cup of coffee is a great thing to say the least. Well this is discount coffee, but It's not terrible. It's the store brand from Real Canadian Superstore. It comes in a large yellow container. There is rather a lot of it in the container, and it is not going to keep fresh for the rest of the month, but that's OK I guess. The stuff is not terrible, in fact it's better than most of the coffee I've had when out for coffee with friends. It's not close to Lavazza of course, but what is that is not supper expensive. I've been sent coffee that was worse than this stuff and was far more expensive for the person sending it, and not enjoyed it as much as the No Name coffee (that's the brand name.) I find coffee to be a great joy and I have cut down to one strong cup of coffee a day, but I really need to be having that one cup. It is my pleasure for starting the day with. Yet it helps get me awake and so on, but it's also a great joy. Making the coffee an...
