Someone has been more than a little nice to me this last while and got a bunch of coffee I had in my wish list from Amazon. So I figured I'd share some of it with a friend who is shut in right now. I can get it to him easy enough. My friend is very disabled right now and can't even walk at all. So he needs help and is thankfully getting help from his other friend. The person that sent me the coffee noted in the last order that they made a mistake in trying to order me a coffee maker on my list and hit "buy somewhere else" and it deleted it from my list. So I've added it back on. I will be wanting to get it in a bit anyway. I just need to wait till July to have extra money so I can order it. Right now I'm down funds as I had to order ink for the printer and treated myself to some VERY hot sauce (440,000 scoville). A little will go a long way with that stuff - it's a reaper sauce and I'll review it when I get it. Will do the stupid person ...

Finally figured out this bean thing. The thing I read said to bring to a boil then soak for four hours and cook for two hours on high in slow cooker. NOPE. So I soaked them for twenty four hours and cooked them for three hours on high in the slow cooker. I then tossed in the corn and cooked 1 more hour. Well Next time I will soak for twenty four hours, cook for two hours on high in the slow cooker and add the veggies (I had corn open so used it) then cook 1 more hour. As is it's slightly overcooked. 1 hour less will leave a bit of the sauce left intact and not soaked up by the beans. So next run to the store I may just get the dried beans to save money. After all food keeps going up this last while and when you live on very little money, you need to do what you can to save some. Will be sticking to one large can of stewed tomatoes and one large can of crushed tomatoes for the cooking however. This batch has a smaller can of tomato sauce and a smaller can of tomat...

I get this at Rexall Drugstore. It's $0.99 a bag. The taste is quite good as are all of this brand, but not a strong taste. For the price you get a good amount of chips (270g). They are not as big a bag as the name brand, but for the low price well worth it. I'm giving this a 9/10 for taste VS price.

OK these where very tasty and rather light. However they are nearly $5 for only 100g of snack. The price makes it something I will literally never get again. I enjoyed them but for the price I should have had my eyes rolling into the back of my head when I eat it. So, just not again. Tasted freaking great however.

Well that was yummy. So like it says on the bag, most of the taste is Belgian Dark Chocolate. There is a hint of white chocolate and cherries in it as well. A slight hint of milk chocolate in the back end. The aftertaste is of (you guessed it) chocolate. It's a very mild coffee taste, and mostly the flavoring they gave it. This is hole bean coffee and fresh ground it's simply amazing. I really enjoyed this. It is one of the best flavored coffees I've ever had. Rater skewed to price is 9.5/10. Price on (Canadian) Amazon was $13.00 for a 340 gram bag. It's actually worth the money.

There is a slight hint of dark chocolate. It's only a bit bitter. There is a taste of wood. Also a slight hint of smoke. There is very little aftertaste other than just the normal coffee taste. Seems to have a bit more kick to it than the other 2 I tried from 1850 set. I give it an 8/10 for taste per price. The price was $8.99 on Amazon (Canada). To be honest this makes me think of the time I spent in a cabin with no power for a week in the northern Saskatchewan woods. There was 5 of us and we drank coffee that was made in a percolator on the fire. We sat there in the evening playing cards and sipping on the strong camp coffee.

Yeah, my blog is like really a LOT more popular than my Vlogs LOL. This month so fare I've had 13358 page views. 356 just yesterday. Being I've got it set not to count bots, this is kind of a LOT. When it was counting bots, I was getting like 50K views a month. That tells you how much traffic is bots on the internet. My vlog got 1600 views (about) this month. So you can see how much more people like the blog for some reason. If I wanted to have the ads turned on that would be like $6 a month LOL.

See this is why I have Prime. I need black printer ink. I like to get the XL cartridges as they last 3x as long on average. Way better deal per volume (price per unit). So difference between Amazon and MyPrinterShop is $3. Shipping on MyPrinterShop is $5. With prime it's free. So it's a slightly better deal for the same quality of ink. I also LOVE a lot of the Prime original shows. I have a bunch in my watch list. I kind of with I could make more than one list like I can on Netflix however. I would have one for movies and one for shows and a 3rd for "binge nights". The binge nights one I load up in advance with 3 to 6 movies and I watch them all in a row. I order about 3 things a month from Amazon. The price of Prime is less than the shipping on the 3 items, and I get to watch some great shows and movies.   I'm very thankful that someone got the 2 things I used to have on my wish-list. One was some coffee I really wanted and it showed up in the mail yesterday. It had a note that said "I accidentally deleted the coffee maker, please re-add it". Well I added the coffee maker back in and it showed "have 1 need 2", this means it's been purchased and on it's way. I don't know if the same nice person got that, or some other nice person decided to get something off my list at the same time, but I'm truly grateful for this. At this moment there is one more kind of coffee in the list and 3 kinds of hot sauce. When I get my next GST I may get some if not all the items. I am trying to vanquish my credit card debt I been living on. I'm trying hard to reduce my for me expenses to get it paid down. OK all ready to go with the supplies. From now on I'm keeping a 2 week supply of food on hand in case things go to hell on me. This meant some re-organizing in the pantry. But it all fit. Going to use then DANG dried beans last. So much work. Got to soak them for 12 hours then cook them longer than normal. Or maybe I'll just start using them with the next batch of bean mix I do up. 2 cups of these things makes 4 days of beans - but as I said, takes 2 days to make LOL. As well I've mixed in crushed tomatoes with the stewed ones. I like the bit of onion in the stewed tomatoes. I've also got to use up the stash of smaller cans I had to get last time. I should be set until then end of May and maybe a bit after that. Half way threw May I'll get another months worth. On a side note I see people are STILL over shopping and the lines in the SuperStore are extremely long. I do pickup and people are using it a LOT, so you have to plan 2 weeks ahead to get a slot.

Down 8.0 lbs At 387.8 lbs (175.9 kg) Down 5.0 lbs on year Down 110.2 all time Weighed in on Wed. (a day early) and was down 3.6 lbs. Dumped a bunch of water weight and am down 8.0 lbs instead (as of Friday). So that kind of went well for this week. No pizza or booze kind of helps it seems. Will try to keep on track, but don't expect 8 lbs a week to say the least. From now on instead of pizza night I'm having ice cream on Fridays. Also no more whisky for some time to come.

1850 Pioneer Blend Coffee. There is a hint of hazelnut and dark chocolate as there was in the Midnight Gold. However it's not as strong a hit of it. This is a medium roast but rather a bold expression for a medium. The after taste is all dark chocolate. Slightly bitter in taste. I got it on Amazon (Canada) for $8.99 in a 340g bag. For the price and quality I'm giving it a 7.5/10.

1850 Midnight Gold Blend coffee. This is a dark roast coffee and it's dark alright. The taste is very bold and slightly bitter. There is a hint of hazelnut and an after taste that is slightly burnt tasting and a lingering taste of dark chocolate. On amazon (Canada) a 340g bag was $8.99 and there was no taxes on it. For the price and the quality, I give this a 8/10. It's quite good.
