  It all started when someone mentioned an old haunt on facebook and that it had opened and then closed again... For the 30th time. Then I got the little red X from my link scanner... I though that is strange, it's a vlogging site...   So I licked it and this came up. As the software won't let you go to a site it things is dangerous. I thought "Steeling your information"?   Then I clicked details and it said the risk was high. Wowsers. Someone has not been playing by the rules of proper net educate... Well... What can I say... I won't even start with my history with the fellow that owned it. Me and others where branded a troll and punted off for not agreeing with his lord and master of the site. When asked about why we where not there, he said "they quit". LOL It's not quiting when you try to log on and it says you have been banned... Just in case you thought that was a form of quitting... 

When I was a kid, I was free range. I got hurt a LOT as I was one of the risk takers. I got used to opening the door (that was never locked) and calling Mom to come patch me up. See she did not like when I dripped blood on the floor. Some times I was 40% ouchie... These days if I showed up to school every day with a different part of me bruised or bandaged Children's Services would have been called. Back then no one gave it two thoughts. Teachers where smart enough to realize  I was doing stupid and risky things in the play yard as well and realized it was all on me. Then by the time I was in grade 7 things started to change. Before that if you punched out a bully nothing happened. After that they labelled you violent and you got detention - with the same bully that started it all. By the time I was out of high school, it was you got suspended if you fought back. Now all you have to do is show up with a 2 inch long plastic gun and they kick you out of school for good. The...

47 Randall Street was where it all happened. The man had died and there was no family to claim his things. The agent said they would clear it all out. I told her no, I wanted it as is. No one from the small town wanted the place. See he was an odd duck. It was also seeming to be designed by a madman. There where cabinets all over the place with things in it. Most of them where little wooden people. Every time I went threw one I swear I hear someone moving about but no one was ever there. It took about a month to load all the wooden people into boxes. I sold them as a lot. Maybe to another strange man, I would never know. The furniture was sold in an auction house just outside of Moose Jaw. Got a good price for all that stuff. Broken garbage bins graveyard. The city seems to have wanted to hide them, so they placed them across the road from the city barns where they keep the sand and so on stored. They are hidden behind a pile of sand way at the back of a road not many go down. to think of all that tax money spent on bins that break so easy. There are 2 of the big ones in the back of my building for us to use. They have both been replaced twice that I know of. One of the new ones no longer has lids on it. They are broken off. What can one say? They just are not made to work in an environment where they are exposed to the cold. But then again the lids broke off our new one in the summer... Sigh...

* Below is the complaint sent in on the Smitty's web page by my Trucker Friend Dale. We have both watched the slow decline about of the place in the last few years. It has gone from a once very busy place that was able to open 24/7 to a place that is now often closing early as no one is out there at all. The quality of the food is also going down and the cleaning chemicals they use in the bathroom while the place is open makes me very sick some times. But it's the only NOT a bar place open that time of night in town. Yup This is why it takes the extra day to get to me LOL. At least their estimates are almost ALWAYS right. See the ones I am getting from Amazon most of the time are a bit out there. Today I had a package ship (Feb, 3, 2016) and the estimate on the email was (Feb 4, 2016). LOL Good luck with that, more than likely it won't even leave the city it shipped from today. LOL.
